Simple Cardboard Laptop Stand
thingiverse
Being an Engineer who found himself working from home with little preparation during the Covid-19 lock-down, I needed a stand for my work laptop to line up with my monitor and get it out of the way. I had limited supplies available - some 5mm thick cardboard from old packing boxes and a knife - so I created this design to be sturdy and easy to make without glue or tape. This design turned out to be very rigid, and so far it has survived six weeks of working from home with no issues! It's designed for a 14" Dell Latitude 7480, but you can adjust the slot in the sidewall to fit almost any laptop. The DXF files are exact if you want to print and cut them, or use a laser cutter. I drew mine out using dimensions on PDFs since I didn't have access to either.
