Simple Cardboard Laptop Stand
thingiverse
Being an Engineer who, like many during the Covid-19 lock-down, had to start working from home with very little preparation, I found myself needing a stand for my work laptop to bring it in line with my monitor and out of the way. I had very limited supplies available, apart from some nice ~5mm thick cardboard from some old packing boxes and a knife, so I created this design to be sturdy and simple to make without the need for glue or tape. It turned out to be very rigid, and so far it has survived 6 weeks of working from home without any issues! It is designed for a 14" Dell Lattitude 7480, but you could adjust the size of the slot in the sidewall to suit almost any laptop. The DXF files are 1:1 if you want to print and cut, or use a laser, but I just drew it out using the dimensions on the PDFs as I had neither to hand.
