Simple Car CD-Slot Magnetic Phone Holder A newer, more straightforward design than my previous version. This phone holder relies on magnets to securely hold the phone, assisted by a metal component in the back of the phone case. The magnet holder has extra capacity, allowing for additional magnets beyond what is needed to retain my phone. To fill this excess space, I added a piece of cardboard. Old hard disk drives from retired desktop computers provided the magnets used in this project. # Post Print I employed super glue to join the two parts together seamlessly. To prevent scratching the CD slot's front surface, I applied felt padding to the stoppers of the joined parts. Designed with right-hand drive vehicles in mind, users with left-hand drive cars can simply flip the holder over for proper alignment. # Notes For optimal results, it is recommended that this item be printed using Petg or ABS due to potential heat exposure from a parked vehicle. Printed at a layer height of 0.2mm with 20% infill.
