Simple Cable Spool
thingiverse
Simple Cable Spool The tablet / laptop bag that I carry my surface pro in is quite thin, and when you start throwing in things such as a power brick, mouse, headphone and various cables it can become untidy and 'bulgy'. I decided to make some very thin cable spools to organise my cables and to use the least amount of real estate as I can... The cable spool is just a few mm thicker than the cable diameter itself, and can lay flat (see images)... Due to this thinness I've recommend using PETG, as PLA will likely break. I've based the spool on a 6mm cable diameter and 2m (or around 6') length and the hole in the centre should accompany a HDMI or Display Part plug. The spool can also be combined together or hung up.
