Simple cable anchor
thingiverse
This is a basic cable anchor based on brad nails that can securely hold shielded cables up to 5mm in diameter. If you want to use larger cables, feel free to preload or compress them as needed. Both single and dual cable models are available. A recess has been included to prevent hands and clothing from getting caught by exposed brad heads. If you prefer a larger fastener, ream it accordingly. To make further changes, simply post your suggestions in the comments section - I'll be happy to add more versions based on your requests. **Print Settings** * Printer: Scalar Custom * Rafts: No rafts are required. * Supports: Avoid using supports altogether. * Resolution: Use a resolution of 0.2mm or other settings that work for you. * Infill: Aim for an infill percentage between 40-100%. **Important Notes** Don't use supports when printing this part. To scale the design, calculate (cable diameter in mm / 5mm) = x / 100 and solve for X. This cable anchor is not designed to withstand extreme tensile loading.
