For a donation: https://www.paypal.me/RobertoMacchi In these challenging times, we all try to safeguard our loved ones from the Covid-19 virus threat. A vital resource that can aid us is ozone (O3), a potent oxidant that kills bacteria and a significant percentage of viruses. Many people have purchased ceramic generators producing ozone through corona discharge, achieved by connecting high-voltage transformer poles to conductive plates coated with ceramic. I too bought two devices but due to the high voltage, they're not ready for use without proper protection. That's why we need a protective insulator box for our safety and convenience. As a design engineer, I didn't have time or desire to create something from scratch; instead, I searched for a practical solution here on Thingiverse. However, I couldn't find anything that met my needs, so I designed it myself. Two clarifications: 1) The original design features 4mm-thick main walls due to the high electrical insulation required. To reduce printing time and material usage, I also created a lighter 3mm version (thin). Although I take no responsibility for either version's adequacy in isolation or security, both were printed with premium PLA and function without issues. 2) Compared to photos, I rotated the handle 90° to facilitate assembly after inserting the generator. I used 4MA stainless steel screws to prevent oxidation and hot glue for TPU 85 ShoreA feet. The main box is designed as a single piece for robustness and compactness, making it slightly more challenging to insert the generator, but still feasible without problems. LAST THING: DON'T MESS WITH OZONE! This gas can be useful in disinfecting environments but is also hazardous if inhaled directly for extended periods, irreparably oxidizing our respiratory system. I advise against staying in ozone-treated areas and ventilating rooms well after treatment before reoccupying them. I wish you all the best during this difficult time, that you overcome it without consequences, and we can reunite soon. Love and good prints. Roberto
