Simple Birdhouse Key Holder
thingiverse
This makes for a fantastic spot to stash your keys, so you always know exactly where they are at all times. If you need to store multiple keys, simply print out additional pairs - this design lends itself perfectly to creating duplicates. I've even given this as a gift myself, crafting it specifically as a Christmas present. I drew inspiration from a similar project I saw online, so while I didn't come up with the idea entirely on my own, I did take the initiative to adapt and improve upon the original design based on what I had seen. Here's how to assemble this birdhouse: 1. The kit comes in two separate parts that snap together seamlessly using two dowels. 2. Once assembled, the roof should fit snugly on top of the birdhouse - for added security, consider gluing it into place. 3. You can choose to mount your new birdhouse using one or two screws through the holes in the back, or opt for a more temporary solution with double-sided tape.
