Simple Bag Strap Clip
thingiverse
My wife recently acquired a new bag with an excessively long strap that was causing her frustration. To address this issue, I created a simple clip to keep the excess strap secure by punching a hole in the existing buckle and clipping the tail to the rest of the strap. Initially, the design measures approximately 0.5 cm in width, but for added strength, I printed it at 1 cm wide. The clip can be easily scaled up or down to suit individual preferences regarding width and thickness, although this may alter the dimensions of the tab that hooks behind the strap. For users who require further customization, a .blend file has been uploaded, allowing for simple modifications due to its straightforward geometry. As an added touch, I experimented with scaling and printing a 1 cm version of a popular design from Thingiverse (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1906057) which can be glued onto the front of the clip for a unique look.
