Simple bag clip
prusaprinters

My aim here was to create a simple bag clip in one piece that can easily be printed on any printer. The spring action can be adjusted by increasing or decreasing the thickness of the arc shape at one end of the clip (see included .slvs source file).

I've used Polymax PLA which is very strong but still has the printing benefits of regular PLA such as low temperature printing (190-200 degrees Celsius) and good adhesion to the print plate. I've briefly tried regular PLA but that broke too easily. This could however be improved with slicer changes such as infill or wall thickness/wall line count.

Infill was 20%.

IMPORTANT: Open source design. I've included the source file (.slvs) for Solvespace (v3.0). This allows you to make changes to the design. Solvespace is a free and open source, easy to use 3D CAD program that works on Linux, OSX and Windows.

Solvespace can be downloaded here: https://solvespace.com/download.pl or from the repository from your favourite Linux distro.
