Simple Ant Weight Wedge 2 channel

I updated the files and am test printing now. The first in a series of training bots designed to weigh around 1lb... Recommended equipment: A 2-channel radio is ideal, you could use a FlySky GT2 or similar radio that costs about $20. Alternatively, consider an FS-I6 (approximately $40), a 6-channel stick-style radio that won't require upgrading if you want to build more complex bots. Either two ESCs or a dual-channel mixing ESC (I recommend one like this: https://amzn.to/32loPL2) is necessary. If you opt for individual ESCs, use a stick radio like the FS-I6 that can mix channels for steering and throttle. The 2-channel ESC costs around $20 on Amazon, less on AliExpress. Two TT motor gearboxes with a 45:1 gear ratio are required; the plastic geared variety costs about $1 each. Acquire a couple. The K346 wheels' rubber tires suffice; they're about $0.50 each from AliExpress. Get some extras, as the hubs are designed for N20 motors and aren't ideal. You'll need a few battery connectors, using JST on these bots is recommended. Ten pairs of pre-crimped JST connectors cost around $1 on AliExpress; slightly more on Amazon. Choose your preferred type based on your selected battery. Batteries and chargers have various options. I use many lipos but they're pricier than alternatives. The bot can handle a 2S 1000mAh lipo, which is overkill; you'll likely get almost an hour of runtime with this capacity. A 450mAh battery provides around 25 minutes at one of our demonstrations, and that's being pushed hard by kids. I plan to switch our demo bots to 18650 cells from old laptops, adding charging circuits (about $0.25 each) for them to charge via an ATX power supply. You'll also need two M3x25, two M3x16, and two M3x6 button head socket screws, some solder, and that's it... a build article is coming soon. www.macrobot.us
