--Update 2-- New version is online. It's more robust now and mounts on the sides instead of one-third of the way in. --UPDATE-- The new design needs extra support. The heat from the router causes the PLA to warp, making it lose its grip on the router. I think extending the "fingers" would be enough, but adding a spine from the hole to the ends is also an option. To-do List: * Add more support * Design another version where all ports are easily accessible and the WPS button doesn't get accidentally pushed --Original Post-- A simple way to hang your modem under your desk (or wherever you want) The hole has a 5mm diameter. You can zip-tie it to something like a support bar or those adhesive clips. To Attach: Put one end on the back and slide the other over the curved edge of the modem. I printed in PLA, which flexed enough for this design to work without needing to disconnect anything if you need to read the label or something. Print Settings: Printer: Anet A8 Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 20% Notes: With 20% infill, I'm not sure yet if the heat from the router will be enough to deform the print since I've just started using them. I used five layers for the top and bottom (1mm), with two walls (0.8mm).
