I designed a simple yet effective shelf organizer specifically for my 3D Printer work area using Fusion 360. This sturdy shelf can hold essential 3D printer parts and tools such as nuts, bolts, PTFE tubing, glue sticks, cutters, and pliers, among others. I deliberately gave the shelf a boxy design to accommodate future modifications or expansions that could be easily stacked on top of the base if needed. This thoughtful approach ensures seamless integration with existing components. Precision tolerances in the shelves provide approximately 1mm of clearance around each compartment, giving users peace of mind while maintaining secure storage without any unnecessary tightness. As a beginner designer, this project marks my second successful design, and I'm thoroughly enjoying the creative process.
