Simple .22LR Box With Sleeve
thingiverse
Simple .22LR tray with friction fit sleeve. This is my very first scratch-built creation, brought to life using SketchUp 2017. After several test prints, I finally got it right. I knew I could have easily found something like this on Thingiverse, but I needed to learn how to do the design work myself since I've been printing other people's creations for years. Printed on my Reprapguru Prusa I3 V2 at 150 microns, the tray was printed with 3 perimeters (which later became 4 after slicing) and 0% infill, while the sleeve was printed with 2 perimeters (which later became 3 after slicing) and 100% infill. I highly recommend keeping the sleeve solid as it will significantly increase its rigidity.
