Part of my innovative Folding Polyhedra Pack! These unique dice print unfolded, allowing for greater balance and perfect alignment. This technique also yields a smooth surface finish and enables the use of advanced printing methods for multiple colors with a single extruder. A single-color option is available as well. For an added touch, you can swap filaments after the initial layers to create dots in a second color. Print. Simply snap these dice into place by starting with the loop of four sides, followed by the remaining two opposite sides. I discovered that these polyhedra hold together exceptionally well when printed with MatterHackers PRO PLA on my Anycubic i3 Mega. However, for added security, it's not a bad idea to apply a small drop or two of cyanoacrylate (super glue) to ensure they remain firmly in place. 05.12.20 Update - a blank version has been added.
