simple 120 fan cooler
thingiverse
I'm always looking for ways to simplify and speed up the printing process, so I designed this simple 120 fan stand for 3D printer part cooling. As someone who gets impatient easily, waiting for the heatbed and printed parts to cool down on their own can be a major annoyance and huge time-waster. To solve this problem, I created this fan stand to significantly reduce cooling times in general. It also happens to work really well for cooling electronics, such as print controllers and soldered parts - which is exactly what the fan was originally intended for, making it seem like a no-brainer solution. Printer Settings: Printer: Colido Printrite DIY Ramps 1.4 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 mm Infill: 30% Notes: Power is supplied via a convenient 4-pin Molex plug that connects directly to one of the spare plugs on the ATX PSU already powering my printer, complete with an inline switch for control.
