Simple 10MM calibration cubes with different scaling for exact measurement
thingiverse
Here is a rewritten version of the text: I discovered that Cube 1 measures x1, Cube 2 measures x1.02, Cube 5 measures x1.05, and so on. This allows me to assess how far off my printer's sizing is from the actual dimensions. In my case, the 1.02 setting was the most accurate, but I still expect higher-end printers to deliver precise results at a 1.00 scale. Now that I've found this discrepancy, I plan to use a 1.02 scaling factor for printing parts that require tight fits with real-world objects, such as the rollers I designed for ProjectL.
