Create a crow's nest model for tabletop roleplaying games like Pathfinder and Dungeons & Dragons in Sketchup, converting it to .STL format with possible imperfections. Print the nest using natural PLA on a Printrbot LC with 0.2 mm layer height, assemble, and paint with primer and base paint for a neat appearance. Ensure that the pieces fit together snugly, but be prepared to use glue or whittle for accuracy. The compact design should hold a miniature securely, preventing table flipping; an alternative 2"x2" base may be uploaded later for better stability.
