Fossils of this unusual species were discovered in Madagascar. Simosuchus clarki stood out due to its unique and bizarre skull morphology. It had an elongated snout with forward-facing eyes and numerous tiny teeth, suggesting a specialized diet. This reptile had a short, stocky body and relatively short limbs.
