REEF, 2015 Simon Allen, born in Bristol, United Kingdom, in 1967, received his Degree in Fine Art from Falmouth School of Art in 1989. He later moved to London, where he worked as a technician at Waddington Galleries and then trained as a gilder at Stewart Heslop Frames. Returning to Cornwall in 1994, Allen focused on developing his unique artistic vision through creating stunning gilded wall sculptures. He now operates a studio located near St.Ives, set amidst the breathtaking Cornish moorland. A dedicated full-time sculptor, Allen lives with his loving wife and two precious daughters.
