Simon's fan duct
thingiverse
The text details how inexpensive VGA fans, costing under a dollar each, can be used for cooling at the hot end delivery barrel during PLA printing. These fans are particularly useful when printing large objects. The design was inspired by JaydmDigital's 40mm fan duct and is intended for use with the front fan mount on twin-fan x-carriages; only one fan is needed. A 12-volt VGA fan, like this one (http://tinyurl.com/cwkvphm), is required for implementation.
