Supports are required (Minus the base) PLA is not recommended This is still a concept and I am working on validating it but you better pray your 3d printer is not in your room if you want to get this done in one go and I have never had a part fail to print yet to read the rotation it uses a motor that when you spin the shaft it generates voltage the circuit reads them with a formula that reads the output of the motor puts it through the formula and calculates the rotation you can spin it as fast as you want without worrying because if it actually hits the voltage limit of the Arduino it will read data through a resisted motor output Planning on adding foot pedals too but I Don't Have The parts for that so that will have to wait until I can get my hands on some
