Sim Racing Paddle Shifter
thingiverse
I'm uploading my basic sim racing paddle shifter design, along with .stl files and a .step file so you can customize or upgrade as needed. I used paddles from the following link, so I won't upload them here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2745297. To assemble each pair of shifters, you'll need: 2x 3D printed shifter bodies 2x 3D printed shifter shafts 2x Paddles with M3 mounting holes spaced 10mm apart (you can choose any paddles you like) 2x Switches (I use the Crouzet 831810CFD0.0, but you can modify the .step file to fit a cheaper microswitch if desired): https://www.digikey.com/product-detail/en/crouzet/831810CFD0.0/966-1426-ND/2415867 You'll also need: 4x 7/16 inch x 3/16 or 1/4 inch magnets (I recommend the KJM Magnetics D73-N52 or D74-N52): https://www.kjmagnetics.com/proddetail.asp?prod=D73-N52, https://www.kjmagnetics.com/proddetail.asp?prod=D74-N52 In addition to the magnets, you'll need: 4x M6 x 10 button head screws (for the shaft axis) 4x M3 x 12 socket head screws (for mounting the paddle to the shaft - use any size suitable for your chosen paddle thickness) 4x M3 nuts (for securing the paddle to the shaft) 4x M3 screws for mounting the shifter to a button box or plate
With this file you will be able to print Sim Racing Paddle Shifter with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Sim Racing Paddle Shifter.
