Sim Racing button box enclosure
thingiverse
This is my bespoke button box housing design, engineered specifically to complement my rally wheel setup. It boasts a robust construction, thicker than most enclosures, due in part to its deliberate pairing with the Leo Bodnar BU0836A USB control module and an accompanying breakout board featuring a precision potentiometer. This ingenious combination empowers me to command a full spectrum of buttons while also seamlessly integrating a paddle clutch into my system. I opted for a 90% fill print using high-quality ABS material, ensuring a sturdy and dependable build. Additionally, the enclosure features strategically placed hex openings that can be used to securely install M3 x 35mm female threaded standoff pillars – readily available on Amazon for convenient purchase.
