SIM Card Tray
thingiverse
I've been a huge fan of jef41's design and have put it to good use with all of my flash media for DIY Electronics projects. With IoT tech expanding rapidly, I've been exploring GSM data communication, and that can rack up a lot of SIM cards. So why not include them in this project? I modified a standard "tray" to accommodate Mini SIM cards. The angle notch is obviously not required, but it positions the card properly over the offset 'extract-hole' - I'm thinking many cards will be mini/micro/nano combos, as shown. It also orients SIM numbers on the cards towards me. In keeping with the original designs, I sized this to match the standard thickness of 2mm. This way, one can still simply mix and match up to 17mm. (With 2's and 3's)
