Wanted to add a Digital Read Out to my drill press on the cheap, so bought the cheapest Digital Vernier I could find off Amazon, designed this clamp to fit around the Quill and fit the end of the vernier into (after a bit of surgery to remove the unneeded jaws and excess length).The Vernier I used is this one.https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0947SKCYS?psc=1&ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_ct_3Z8DX60S9JBV247VK8HEIt's all plastic, so very easy to chop down with a hacksaw.The Quill Diameter is 40mm. - To mount the clamp all you will need a M4x10mm bolt and nut. The body of the Vernier it attached to the front of the Drill press using the Masking tape and Superglue method currently. I may look to attach it more permanently later.
