Silver Sailboat

I was ten years old when our family embarked on an adventure to Turkey. My dad discovered this silver sailboat at the market and negotiated its price for quite some time. I loved holding this model in my hands, admiring its intricate details, and being amazed by how they crafted the sail and ropes from metal. Now, when it comes to scanning, two things I feared most - scanning metal objects and small details - are exactly what these challenges are all about! The model is also relatively compact, which presented another macro challenge. But I was up for it! I created and decimated this model using Agisoft Metashape (it did an incredible job with the ropes!). I shot it with a Canon 90d camera paired with a 100mm macro lens.
