The Silurian rock core acquired from Milwaukee's deep tunnel was procured via Wisconsin Geological and Natural History Survey. Conspicuously present vuggy porosity is evident in this specimen. A photo reveals red and blue markings on the majority of rock cores, denoting the upward direction with the "Red on right" rule. The scanning process took place at Dr. Franek Hasiuk's GeoFabLab, housed in Iowa State University's Department of Geological and Atmospheric Sciences. Utilizing MakerBot Digitizer Desktop 3D Scanner at "Medium" setting, the specimen was accurately scanned.
