Silicone sock mold for Monoprice V1 hot end

Silicone sock mold for Monoprice V1 hot end

I designed this custom part to create a silicone sock for a brand new hot end. The existing options were mirrored images, so I decided to make one that meets my specific needs - I need the wires coming out of the right-hand side with the nozzle facing forward. First, print the core and cavity separately. Then, use the knockout (KO) tool with a runner to inject silicone into the mold. To ensure a smooth process, print the core with supports everywhere and carefully remove them between the lid and the core. Maintain perfect alignment when injecting the silicone into the mold. After that, let it cure completely before de-molding the part with great care. That's all - enjoy!
