Silicone head kitchen spatula

This kitchen spatula boasts a flexible silicone head. Its mold consists of two identical parts that fit snugly together, ensuring a secure bond. The STL file contains only one part for convenience, allowing users to print individual pieces or replace faulty ones easily. To achieve a seamless connection during the drying process, consider using a vice or clip. The stick should be made from ABS plastic if you plan to use this spatula for handling hot substances. However, if you prefer it to withstand acetone and similar chemicals without dissolving, choose PLA instead. The mold itself should be crafted from PLA for an exceptionally smooth finish. While ABS could work as well, the resulting surface may not be as polished. To minimize the risk of a sticky situation, apply silicone directly to the parts of the mold facing the stick. This ensures the central portion of the head comes out flawlessly. Fill the rest of the mold with liquid silicone, taking care to avoid bubbles that can compromise its integrity. Liquid soap or soap water makes an excellent release agent.
