A custom-fit silicone cover for a 25x16x12 mm aluminum heater block is crafted using an ABS-printed mold. To ensure a precise fit, the parts must be carefully coated with silicone oil before being filled with a generous amount of silicone glue. After allowing the mixture to set for a week, the mold can be disassembled and trimmed with scissors to create a seamless snap-fit assembly.
