About

Make your own silicone spacers to replace the bed leveling springs. I made this a few months ago but thought I would share the idea. I sketched and printed a silicone cutting jig and had some pretty thick silicone hose already.

The cutting jig has slots for 16 mm and 18 mm tall silicone columns which will work with most printers. On my QIDI X-Max the springs in the front are replaced with 16 mm columns and the one in the rear with an 18 mm one.

I've uploaded two versions: One for hoses with a diameter up to 11 mm and one for a diameter of up to 15 mm.

You can also buy a set of silicone spacers on Amazon for example.
