Silicon sock Mold for Ender-3 and Ender-4 heat block.

thingiverse

A mold for silicone heat block socks that fits Ender-3 and Ender-4 printers perfectly, with the potential to be compatible with many more. Print and assembly: Only Mold_Core.stl requires support, while the rest can be printed without it. The four small holes in the piston must be open; if not, use a 1.5mm drillbit to make them visible. Attach the mold cavity to the piston securely. The piston fits snugly into the piston guide, so some sanding may be necessary to get them together properly. Procedure: 1. To mix Acetate silicone quickly, combine it with water and a few drops of dish soap in a small plastic bag. 2. Spray WD40 or any thin non-stick fluid on the mold, then dip it into water with a good amount of dish soap. 3. Pour 3.5 cubic centimeters of heat-resistant silicone into the Mold_Core. 4. Attach the piston guide to the Mold_Core using M3 bolts and nuts or document binder clips. 5. Press the piston all the way down gently but firmly. 6. Wait at least an hour before opening the mold; if you mixed the water into the silicon well, it may take 24 hours for the sock to be ready for use. Steam can cause it to burst. Needed items: - Heat-resistant silicone (minimum 300 C) - Acetate silicone is recommended due to its strong vinegar smell and ability to cure quickly with water. - Glue - WD40 or a thin non-stick fluid Nice to have items: - M3 screws and nuts, or document binder clips - A small plastic bag
