This is a replacement drive blanking piece meant to cover unused drive slots on a Silicon Graphics Onyx deskside system. There are two OEM drive blanks which both utilize a design which is hard to easily reproduce without a lot of support material and careful tuning and optimizing of the printer. This design is a more primitive version that is meant to be easily printed with most materials (PLA, PETG, ABS) and will securely fit inside the drive bay. Once printed, simply press fit the blank into the slot. The nubs on each end of the piece will catch and hold the cover firmly in place until you want to remove it. Note: It is possible that there are minor variations in the size of each drive slot. It is recommended that you print one piece to test first and adjust the height or width with your slicer if necessary. Most likely this will not be required and the file can be printed without adjustment.
