Silicon (Caulk) tube holder
thingiverse
I needed something to keep the silicone caulking tubes standing upright inside a cabinet - they were constantly falling over and consuming too much space - so I created this. The walls are 1.6mm thick, which means that they work perfectly with a 0.4mm nozzle tip. The scooped out parts are simply designed to save material and provide a bit of flexibility to the walls. Version 3 includes tabs for adhesion - my first print warped and lifted during the printing process. You can use a brim instead, but I think these tabs will stabilize it and you can easily remove them later - they're only 0.44mm thick. I made these holders 50mm high, but if you adjust your Z-axis to -15mm in Cura, it will speed up the printing process and save material - and still provide enough stability. However, you might need a brim to prevent warping.
