Silica Gel Canister Holder

I use the rechargeable silica cannisters compatible with the Pelican 40 gram 1500D Silica Gel Canisters in my Samla boxes where I store my filament. Usually I just throw one in the bottom of each box, but was always concerned that the spools would crush the canisters. So, I made this holder in Tinkercad to hold the canister and allow me to attach it to the lid or side to keep it out of the way. I use Velcro since it can be advantageous to be able to remove the holder in order to get the canister out. The fit can be tight based on canister and printer, so I would recommend doing a test print to check. The Tinkercad models are available if you want to modify. When time to recharge, the canisters need to bake at 280F for 2 hours. To avoid a mess and/or fire - REMOVE the canister from the holder before baking. Print Settings Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: Original Prusa i3Rafts: No Supports: YesResolution: 0.2mm Infill: 20% Notes: Be careful when removing the supports, since you can wind up breaking the print. I used Simplify3D for slicing and support generation.
