Silica Gel Canister (30mm for filament reels)

I created this container to hold silica gel pellets, making it an ideal size for use inside filament spools and boxes. After measuring eight different spools, I discovered that one had a center hole of only 31mm in diameter. To accommodate these smaller holes, I designed the canister with a 30mm diameter, ensuring it fits snugly inside most spools. Additionally, this canister's design takes into account the varying outer diameters and inner widths of filament spools. Its height allows for easy placement on the outer edge of filament in storage box corners. The container holds up to 18 grams of silica gel, more than sufficient for a 1KG reel of filament. To use it effectively, simply place press-zip poly bags (about 35CM x 35CM or 12/13" sq) inside and fill with silica gel from a 500 gram tub. This type of silica gel has a color indicator that shows when it needs to be restored in an oven. Remove the canister first before doing so.
