Silica Gel Canister (30mm for filament reels)

I created another container for silica gel pellets, optimized to fit snugly inside filament spools and boxes. I encountered several containers that were too large to fit within the center of some of my filament spools, so I designed this one to accommodate nearly all spools. After measuring eight different spools, I discovered that one had a center hole of only 31mm in diameter. To ensure compatibility, I made this canister 30mm in diameter, which will fit inside these spools. Additionally, some spools have a wider outer diameter and are therefore narrower, so the height of this canister takes that into consideration. This canister will also fit easily on the outer edge of the filament in the corner section of the storage box. It holds up to 18 grams of silica gel, which is more than sufficient for a 1KG reel. To use it effectively, I recommend using press-zip poly bags (about 35CM x 35CM / 12/13" sq) and purchasing a 500 gram tub of silica gel with the color indicator that shows when it needs to be restored in an oven (remove from canister to do this). Silica gel and press-zip poly bags are both widely available from ebay sellers.
