Silica gel can
thingiverse
I use a can for silica gel with a filament in vacuum bags. The average size of gel grains is 2.5mm, and the gap in the grid is 1.5mm. The can h16 holds about 8g of dry silica gel, enough for one spool of filament. If more gel is needed, use the can h25, which can contain approximately 16g of gel. Given a minimalist height of a can h16, I made two versions - exactly in the diameter of the lid and with an extended rim. The second version is easier to unscrew, though I prefer the neat-version. The source model is on Tinkercad at https://www.tinkercad.com/things/fCM4oo9BsYa-silica-gel-can Models were updated on 02.04.2019, with names now corresponding to the actual height of the can including the lid.
