Silentabor - prehistoric hillfort and castle

Silentabor village is situated in Slovenia's southwestern Notranjska region. The village is nestled inside a significant Iron Age hillfort that dominates the cliffside landscape. This historic site was also home to a medieval castle, remnants of which can still be seen today. Archaeological evidence reveals prehistoric field systems surrounding the hillfort, offering a glimpse into Slovenia's ancient past.
