The Silent Runner i4 is a compact, high-performance model airship that offers endless endurance and grace, while saving battery power compared to low-efficiency planes and quadrocopters. Its DIY documentation is available at http://www.silent-runner.net, where you can find all the cheap and easy-to-assemble parts needed for your build. The airship has a length of 2.1 meters, a diameter of 0.5 meters, a mass of 300 grams, and features one brushless motor, a 10 A ESC, and a LiPo 2S 1000/500 mAh battery. It can reach speeds of up to 3 m/s and has an endurance of 90 minutes with a payload capacity of 40 grams. The Silent Runner consists of various parts and materials, including RC electronics and printed components that require careful slicing and printing due to their lightweight, filigree structure. You can find the full list of required printed parts and documentation at http://www.silent-runner.net/. This project is developed by the Projekt Windreiter team and contributions from other enthusiasts can be shared on their website: www.windreiter.de.
