Silent extruder gears (Rapman)

The incessant clicking of standard acrylic involute gears drove me crazy, so I decided to design these herringbone gears as a replacement. Now, I can barely hear my printer from the next room. I incorporated a motor gear with a built-in "floor" to make it easier to position the grub nut precisely and effortlessly. Additionally, the rebate for the nut has been set back slightly from the shaft, making installation smoother than ever before. One of the biggest advantages of these herringbone gears is that they are constantly in mesh, eliminating any slack when reversing direction. This means you'll experience cleaner prints, especially if you're using a feature like M227 that reverses direction hundreds or thousands of times during each print job.
