When working directly beside the CR10 V2, the noise level is unacceptable. I liked the solution from SIGANBERG so I copied it. I thank you for the idea! The fan housing inside did not fit as the original fan is mounted on bushes. By simply bolting the part on this bushing you may short circuit the hot air instead of getting it out of the casing. Furthermore it sits on a cable mount. I drilled the holes bigger in the PLA ... The Bottom Plate is touching the spool, the mounting of the second fan is impossible. Furthermore I don't want air holes in the bottom, I want the fan to cool the whole housing as the original (poor) design. Therefore I changed the design. The recommended step downs are very compact. The soldering was a pain for me and I bought 3 and none worked correctly. First never below 15V output. And hours later only 5V. I ordered bigger step down modules. Luckily I had a 12V power supply. The NFA6 fan works great when decreasing the fan speed with the supplied cables.
