With this mold, you can create a Cylinder Rubber Head Damper made of silicone. The profile of this damper is designed to attenuate the impact that the piston head has when it strikes the cylinder head, reducing the shock transmitted to the gearbox and consequently reducing the generated noise. I have made these molds using PLA with 0.2mm nozzles. Before molding the silicone into the mold, spray them with releasing agents. The silicone is mixed for 20-30 minutes for aeration, until the modeling viscosity is obtained. This makes it more controllable when inserted into the mold and significantly shortens its hardening time. To apply continuous and even pressure on the mold, I used a wide hand vise.
