Air gun silencer designed for caliber .22, available in caliber 5,5 mm, is fully functional, strong and dependable in construction. Paid version with outstanding sound moderating characteristics is available for calibers 4,5mm, 5,5mm, 6,35mm and 7,62mm. Full resolution/tolerance STL-models are available on Turbosquid (search primitivmaskin or silencer) or Cgtrader (search silencer). Traditional reflex design of baffles slows down air pressure and velocity without disturbing pellet. This design offers excellent accuracy and repeatable results. Length, diameter and volume of silencer are carefully calculated for optimal sound moderating characteristics while maintaining compact dimensions. Silencer is tested on multiple air gun types: PCP:s and high powered spring and gas ram air guns. Results show incredible difference when used on PCP:s, making high powered PCP totally backyard friendly. For best results after 3D-printning, clean 1/2 UNF thread with a plug tap. Suitable printing materials are PLA (best), ABS or polycarbonate. Silencer must be printed with threads up (see picture 6). Baffles have 40 degree angle - no support needed! Use build plate adhesion for stability. Layer height is 0,2 mm and printing time is around 8 hours. Future videos on YouTube will feature sound meter report. Constructed in Sweden by experienced machine engineers, this silencer is not a full resolution/tolerance STL-model - it's functional but not a model.
