In extended versions, it's common to hear a gentle "whoosh" sound as the Vortex silencer portion out the airflow with exceptional efficiency and resistance to the surrounding air, effortlessly swallowing the expelled air volume. The Vortex silencer is available in various calibers, lengths, and diameters: * .177” / 4.5 mm * .22” / 5.5 mm * .25” / 6.35 mm * .30” / 7.62 mm Lengths and diameters: * 295 mm x 40 mm (Extra long) * 195 mm x 40 mm (Standard length) * 120 mm x 30 mm (Compact version) Built with a strong, durable construction, the Vortex silencer offers repeatable accuracy and superior sound moderating characteristics. Improvements include: The upgraded 1/2 UNF thread allows for seamless installation directly onto the barrel after 3D-printing – no additional cleaning is required. Screw the silencer on and off five times to ensure a secure fit. Use recommended 3D-printer settings for optimal results. The internal bore features a coneshaped trajectory that maintains tight tolerances while eliminating potential impacts. The smooth surface finish allows for easy customization with spray-painting or attachment of matte-black "hockey tape". For the best possible outcomes when 3D-printing: * Use a layer height of 0.1 – 0.15 mm. * Set the print speed to maximum 40 mm/sec for reduced vibrations. * Suitable printing materials include PLA tough and regular PLA. * Ensure the exit hole is printed downwards, and the threads are facing upwards. * Avoid using supports, as they can compromise performance.
