Upgrade your noisy printer today with this must-have solution! Separate the steppers from the metal sheet. Tested on Orca V0.30 and V42. Check out a demonstration video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C6zRAMKVI-I. For the upgrade, you'll need a printed template (schablone.stl), 3mm foam rubber, M3 screws (longer than required), 4.3x15mm washers, and 25mm and 4mm hollow punchers. Cut two 42x42mm pieces of foam rubber for each stepper you want to silence. Place one piece into the template and punch through the holes using a hollow puncher on an old wooden plate. Lastly, install the plates as shown in the pictures to enjoy quiet printing without disturbing neighbors!
