Sikorsky S-67 Blackhawk for microarmor
thingiverse
The S-67 Blackhawk attack helicopter could transport as many as eight troopers. Despite this capability, it never entered mass production. For miniature models at a scale of 1/285, a clear plastic disc can be used to represent the rotors. The main rotor measures 66.3mm in diameter, while the tail rotor is significantly smaller at 12.25mm in diameter. The model helicopter was created using Blender 2.80 and its dimensions were exported from Blender 2.79b at a scale of 1/100 for use in the .stl file format. To prepare the model for printing, it should be scaled down to 35% in the slicer software. Due to compatibility issues with certain software, exporting .stl files from Blender 2.80 can be problematic; however, exporting the mesh from Blender 2.79b ensures consistency across different file sizes. For reference, a standard six-sided die (d6) measures 15mm in diameter.
