This high-fidelity model closely represents actual dimensions and features intricate exterior details, such as struts, external bracing, pontoons, radial engines, flying surfaces, and hull. It boasts an array of animatable parts: ailerons, flaps, elevator, rudders, and propellers. Including textures and materials, the model is accessible in various formats. Igor Sikorsky's creation, the S42, was among the first successful commercial seaplanes for passengers, featuring four unpressurized radial engines with tractor-mounted propellers and a pylon-mounted wing. It could accommodate 37 passengers and four crew members or 14 in cargo configuration. The S42 served Pan Am, becoming the first aircraft to visit Hawaii; its last iteration was retired in 1946.
