Both faces exhibit a striking ring-headed cross adorned with interlaced arms and shaft. One face displays considerable wear and flaking, yet retains fragments of tendril-pattern on the left panel of the shaft, along with a cockerel symbolizing the Resurrection positioned above the ring. The other face showcases double twist-and-ring interlace on the shaft. The space to its right depicts Sigurd slaying Fafnir. A later scene is situated below, illustrating Sigurd as he roasts the heart of the dragon and inadvertently scalds his fingers, then cools them in his mouth. Positioned below again is Sigurd's steed Grani, standing next to a tree and a bird; according to the saga, Sigurd can now understand the language of this bird. The edge of the slab features plain key-fret decoration. Early Medieval Found at Ballaconley Keeill, Jurby, Michael, Isle of Man Museum: (Manx National Heritage) Cross was scanned on-site, resulting in some surfaces being uncapturable or unphotographable.
