We're doing this one base at a time, just like the others. However, for signposts and mile-markers, we'll use 1x1 blocks instead of larger pieces. The recess area is a snug 6mm by 6mm and 0.5mm deep, making it easy to line up the location and apply glue. For this base, we're using 6mm square balsa wood for the post and coffee-stirrers for the signs. If you're an avid modeler, keep in mind that plenty of materials are given away every day at Costa.
