Signers Egg for Eggbot
thingiverse
The signatories of the Declaration of Independence collaborated with an Eggbot. Lacking a suitable vector-based file of the document, I manually traced all 56 names in Illustrator, converting them into smoothed paths and then imported them into Inkscape. The majority of the signatures follow the pen stroke that the original signer likely used in 1776. When plotting on a standard-sized egg, use the finest tip possible; I employed a 0.03mm Copic Multiliner for the featured illustration. For larger eggs (such as goose), a .2mm Micron pen (size 005) works well.
